University of Amsterdam (UvA)

The department of developmental psychology of the UvA (prof. dr. Reinout Wiers and dr. Helle Larsen) is involved in Phase 4, Phase 5, and Phase 6 of the ABCD study. This department develops tests for behaviour and cognitive skills that can be administered via the internet. The collaboration with this department is aimed at research into the prediction of later alcohol and drug use and related problems. Find more information on this website or this website.

Academic Collaborative Center Youth and Health (AWJG)

The ABCD study is part of the Academic Collaborative Center Youth and Health (AWJG). Within the AWJG, practice, policy, research, and edcuation are connected. The goal of the AWJG is to improve the quality of preventive youth healthcare and other preventive care for youth, including health promotion.
