The ABCD study

The Amsterdam-Born Children and their Development (ABCD) study is a large-scale and long-term research study into the health of 8,000 children born in 2003-2004 in Amsterdam. We investigate in particular which factors during early pregnancy or in the first years of life influence the health of these children. The study is unique in its design, multi-ethnic composition, and completeness of data collection and analysis.
