Hanan Bozhar will defend her dissertation titled “Urban Adolescence Under Pressure? Understanding Affective Symptoms and Substance Use within a Complex Urban Social Landscape” on 30th march 2026. The defense will take place at 16:00 at the Agnietenkapel.
Her dissertation explores the challenges faced by urban adolescents, focusing on the relationship between affective symptoms and substance use within the unique pressures of city life. The project was supervised by Dr. S.R. de Rooij and Dr. T.G.M. Vrijkotte, with Dr. H. Larsen and Dr. A. Lok as co-supervisors.
